This Wednesday, November 7th, the Climate Reality Awards Gala took place in Madrid, awarding people, enterprises and entities that have stood out this year in their fight against climate change.
The itdUPM has received this award in the ‘Investigation Project’ category, delivered by the journalist Manuel Campo Vidal.The awarded parties in each of the categories were:
- Innovation and Technology for Development Centre at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid
- WWF España.
- Magazine Ballena Blanca
- Ciudades por el clima
- Project CeroCO2, from the Spanish organization ECODES
- Irina Samy Head of the Ambassadors network Plant for the planet.
- Start up Navlandis
- Iberdrola
- Teresa Ribera, Minister for the Ecological Transition
The Climate Reality Awards are an initiative fostered by The Climate Reality Project, the organization funded and presided by the Nobel Prize winner and former vice president of the United States Al Gore, to raise awareness on the risks of Climate Change and the urgent need to adopt measures to deter it.
