Green entrepreneurship: last call for training, mentoring and a prize with the Green At You project

The European project Green at You, promoted by Acción contra el Hambre, the Polytechnic University of Madrid and ECODES, opens its call for free training pathways in the green sector. This blended learning programme combines technical training, digital skills and transversal tools to prepare unemployed people in key sectors of the green transition.

From January 2025, Green at You will offer two training pathways. One of them is aimed at those who wish to become entrepreneurs in the green sector, with technical and digital training, support for the design of sustainable projects and the possibility of winning a prize of 4,000 euros for the best initiatives. The other itinerary focuses on green employment, with training in the installation of photovoltaic panels and energy consultancy.

Green entrepreneurship pathways

The entrepreneurship track is designed for those seeking to transform innovative ideas into sustainable projects in strategic sectors:

  • Sustainable building and nature-based solutions (NBS): The course offers a comprehensive perspective on business opportunities in rural and urban environments. During the programme, participants will learn to identify and evaluate entrepreneurship initiatives, explore applications in sustainable construction and apply principles of circular economy, use of green materials and emerging technologies in sustainable forest management projects.
  • Sustainable forest management: sustainable practices in forestry offers training in innovative business models, BNS principles, circular economy, sustainable materials and emerging technologies. It also addresses policies, legal frameworks and communication skills to promote its benefits. With editions in January and March in Madrid, the course provides European recognition of the UfM, strengthening credentials in sustainability and entrepreneurship.

Through intensive training sessions, participants will learn to identify business opportunities, apply innovative strategies and develop key competencies for entrepreneurship in the green sector. All backed by a university certification with micro-credentials valid throughout Europe.
