Next Tuesday, June 11, at 15:30h, the itdUPM will host a new (im)probable dialogue where we will delve into the relationship between desire and change, to think about a different concept of innovation that allows us to address the needs of the present.
What are our ways of understanding change? What idea of the human do we use to think about transformation? What role does desire play? What elements can activate or inhibit desire and transformation?
Based on these questions, we will have a conversation with our guest Amador Fernández-Savater, independent researcher and author of the essay “Libidinal Capitalism. Neoliberal anthropology, politics of desire, right-wing discomfort“. Amador has spent years thinking together with collectives and social movements about new ways of understanding and facing the problems of the present.
In addition, we will have the moderation of Marcos García, independent cultural manager in the field of citizen laboratories.
