May 20. | (Un)likely dialogues. Portfolio approaches to innovation: Navigating systems complexity

Next Monday, May 20, at 15:30h, itdUPM will host a new (Un)likely dialogue focused on the experimentation portfolio approach for systemic innovation.

The dialogue will be hosted by Giulio Quaggiotto, consultant at the MBR Center for Government Innovation in the United Arab Emirates, where  the Ministry of Possibilities is incubated.

What content will we cover?

Navigating the complexity of modern systems presents unique challenges that require innovative and non-linear approaches. That’s why, together with our guest, we will explore how experimentation portfolios can help tackle complex problems that have no single or technicist solution, such as climate change, social inequality, public health or food security.

Through conversation with Giulio Quaggiotto, one of the world’s leading specialists in public innovation, we will provide not only an insight into what the portfolio approach is, but also concrete examples based on his extensive experience in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
